Welcome to the JKD Kwoon. Kwoon means school. Here, we study and learn the martial art developed by the late martial artist/ philosopher/ film star, Bruce Lee. Jeet Kune Do : Bruce Lee (Jeet Kune Do according to Bruce Lee).
This site is dedicated to expound the true meaning of Bruce Lee's art of Jeet Kune Do, as well as the thoughts and ideas of the Little Dragon himself, Bruce Lee.

Personally, I have acquired great respect for the man. He is the epitome of discipline in any art form. He possessed the desire to be the best at all costs. He trained every day for several hours. He pushed his body to its limits -- even beyond.

He is a role model to all of us who seek guidance in the martial arts. His written and spoken words are repeatedly referenced and often quoted as Bible truth. All look up to him as a teacher, in learning and developing a discipline in martial arts.

He has taught us how to learn -- to develop our own unique style of martial art, and not to conform to a set pattern of rules. By example, he has shown us how to rise above our demons, to defeat that which brings us down, to get up and try again -- and win.

As this website is optimized to rank high in the search engines, I make a plea to those who trained with Lee personally, and also to my good friend, Steve Brown (JKD trainer and owner of www.webkwoon.com, who makes an honest and realistic interpretation) to give their meaningful input for the content of this site.

This will be a no-nonsense, moderated web site. Subject matter will be divided per the categories listed above. Books, magazines, and supplies/equipment will be offered solely for the benefit of the user.
